What is the design and ordering process?

Our design and ordering process is designed to be very simple and easy: Initial consultation: You can provide your customization requirements and design ideas via email, fill out the online quote form, or live chat. We also highly welcome phone communication. Design creation: Your design ideas will be handled by our professional graphic designers, who will create a digital product rendering (usually when you do not have a specific design or physical sample) or a product design drawing (i.e., "production standard") based on your requirements, and send it to you via email for review. At the same time, we will provide a detailed quote, which varies depending on design complexity, order quantity, and product size. Revision and confirmation: If the product design drawing meets your expectations at once (we strive to achieve this), you can place an order. If adjustments are needed, our design team will make unlimited revisions until it fully meets your expectations, without any extra charges or ordering obligations. Receiving a physical sample: You will receive a physical sample. For the physical sample, you can agree or request any modifications! Receiving all products (bulk goods): The bulk goods are usually completed and shipped out about 10 days after you confirm the physical sample.

What is the minimum custom, order, or purchase quantity?

Our minimum order quantity is 100 pieces. As the order quantity increases, the unit price will gradually decrease, and large orders can enjoy mold fee waivers and more favorable prices.

What is the price of a single product?

Prices vary depending on the order quantity, design complexity, etc. For special needs, even if the quantity is less than 100 pieces, we can customize samples for you, but the price will be calculated based on 100 pieces.

Can I enjoy bulk ordering benefits with different designs?

Due to the fixed costs of custom products, our pricing is calculated based on design. Different designs are treated as separate orders, but variations in color or electroplating of the same design can be treated as one order.

Can I see design proofs, agreements, or contracts before placing an order?

Yes. After placing an order, we will provide a digital design proof for your review. You can cancel the order at any time before the sample confirmation and/or bulk production begins, and enjoy a full refund. Our design team will make any adjustments to the product design according to your requirements.

Can I see multiple variants of the same design and choose my favorite?

Yes. If you only have preliminary inspiration without a specific design, ASNY's design team is happy to provide product renderings based on your requirements to help you spark inspiration or clarify your preferred style. For existing specific designs or samples, if you wish to explore different color or electroplating options, you just need to specify your specific requirements when placing an order or through email. Our professional designers will present various variants for you to choose from. Since color or electroplating options do not require a new mold, you can split your order into different colors or electroplating changes without any extra charges.

Can I cancel after placing an order?

You have the right to cancel the order at any time before confirming the physical sample and/or starting bulk production, at which point we will refund the full amount to your account. Please note that we will not begin the bulk production process until you confirm the final physical sample. Once you approve the sample and production begins, the order cannot be canceled.

Can I follow the production process?

Yes. You are welcome to inquire about the production status of your order at any time. Our sales staff are very happy to provide you with photos of the production process and finished products.

Can I communicate by phone?

What file formats does ASNY accept?

We accept a variety of design formats for products, from mobile phone shots and hand-drawn sketches to professional vector files. Supported file formats include, but are not limited to: .jpg, .png, .tiff, .gif, .bmp, .jpeg, .psd. While vector graphics (such as .ai or .eps formats) are not required, they are strongly recommended. If there are any issues with your files, we will contact you promptly.

Can my logo or design be used on the products?

Yes. We can apply any logo or design to our products. For enamel, imitation enamel, and embossed soft enamel products, there are specific design and production considerations. For those who prefer non-cartoonized or non-highly creative product designs, we recommend using offset printing and silk screen printing to precisely print your logo or design.

Does ASNY provide design services?

We usually accept designs or physical samples provided by customers, but our professional design team is also happy to participate in your product design process.

Is there a charge for design services?

All design services we provide (product renderings, product vector graphics, product specification drawings, etc.) are free of charge.

How will my design be used?

We will only use your design with your explicit authorization. Other than producing the products you order, we will not use your design in any other way. We will archive your design or physical sample for your future reordering use only.

If I provide a physical sample, can ASNY replicate or produce it?

Providing a physical sample greatly helps us match your design as closely as possible. Please understand that we need to create new molds and cannot guarantee a 100% match with previous products. Based on our extensive production experience, the products we have successfully replicated have satisfied the vast majority of our customers.

Can the products be cut or punched?

Yes. ASNY Craft Factory employs advanced die stamping technology, which can easily achieve the external shape cutting and creation of a few internal holes in products. Furthermore, our die casting process can handle extremely irregular product shapes and complex internal drilling requirements. No matter how complex your design or how special your requirements, we have the capability to turn them into reality.

Which colors can I choose from?

We use the Coated Pantone color system to define product colors, so please refer to the PMS color chart. If the color format you provide is different, we will try to find the closest substitute color. However, please note that there is no perfect 1:1 correspondence between different color systems. If you have very strict color requirements, we strongly recommend choosing colors from our PMS chart.

Can the products have a gradient color effect?

Yes. Please note that the gradient effect can only be achieved through offset printing and silk screen printing technologies, and is not applicable to enamel, imitation enamel, and embossed soft enamel products.

Does ASNY offer custom sample services?

Yes. We offer custom sample services, charged based on the production price for 100 units.

Does ASNY provide generic samples?

We provide non-customized generic samples or bulk purchases, which have no brand identifiers and do not belong to any customer's specific design. For example, the design themes of generic samples include weather, cities, animals, etc. For more information about generic products, please contact us.

What payment methods does ASNY accept?

We support a variety of payment methods to provide flexible payment options for our clients: 1. Bank transfers within the United States. 2. Bank transfers outside of the United States. 3. Payments via Zelle. 4. Payments via PayPal. 5. Transactions through the Alibaba platform. 6. In certain cases, we may also accept payments by check.

Where are ASNY's shipping locations?

Our goods are shipped from Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China. We use international courier transportation services, with a usual delivery time of 3-4 business days.

Does the order price include shipping costs?

Yes. Customers don't need to worry, as we clearly list the shipping costs in the quotation.

Can I use my own shipping method or discount account?

Yes. We support customers using their personal shipping methods or discount accounts.

Will I receive tracking information when my order is shipped?

Yes. You will receive the courier or freight tracking information for your order.

Can I change the delivery address after placing an order?

Yes. You can change the delivery address. We advise you to notify us of any address changes as soon as possible. Although we work closely with couriers like FedEx, rerouting packages during transit can be quite difficult.

What is ASNY's refund policy?

If a customer cancels the order at any time before the physical sample is confirmed, and payment has already been made, we will process a refund. All other sales are final. If you receive a physical sample that in some way does not match the approved design, please send us pictures of the product and a detailed description of the issue, and we will resolve it for you as soon as possible.

Can I return the product if I am not satisfied?

For stock items, we are happy to accept returns. However, for custom products, we only accept returns in cases of quality issues. Please provide pictures and a detailed description of the problem, and we will address it for you promptly. Given that our orders are fully customized, returns for reasons other than quality issues are not accepted.

Can I request a refund if the goods arrive later than expected?

When accepting orders, the ASNY team already accounts for possible courier delays or customs hold-ups to ensure there is enough time buffer. Delays caused by third-party transportation service providers (such as FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, etc.) are not applicable for the return policy.

What should I do if the quantity of products I received is incorrect?

Typically, we provide some extra products in each order. If for any reason you receive fewer than the ordered quantity, we will send the missing products at no additional cost.

What plating options are available for badges?

Our standard plating option is silver. We also offer a variety of free plating choices, and you can specify or change the plating color at any time during the sample production process. Our plating color choices include gold, silver, copper, bronze, nickel, black nickel, rose gold, two-tone, or three-tone combinations, etc.

What is the difference between black nickel plating and black plating?

Dyed metal finishes (plating) offer a wide variety of color choices for designs, especially creating a true black effect. Black nickel, while appearing as shiny black at certain angles, may look more silver-grey from other angles, suitable for specific artistic choices.

Do you offer eco-friendly packaging options?

Yes. We offer eco-friendly paper packaging options. We recommend using some form of packaging to protect the badges from damage during transit.

What's the difference between black nickel plating and black plating?

Dyed metal finishes (plating) offer a variety of choices for artwork. By dyeing the metal, we not only simplify the number of colors and cavities required to complete the artwork but also create a true black effect on the metal surface. However, due to the limitations of the polishing process, enamel cannot use flat black or other dyed metal options. Thus, if customers wish to use a black metal effect in enamel, it can only be achieved through a black nickel plating. It's worth noting that the term "black nickel" might cause some confusion. Depending on the angle, it sometimes appears as true shiny black and sometimes more silver-gray. However, with the right artistic design, black nickel hard enamel works can exhibit stunning beauty.

Is sequential numbering available for products?

Yes. ASNY can perform laser etching or engraving of sequential numbers on the back of custom metal products. Please note, this service incurs an additional fee. What is Photodome?

What are the differences between color printing, color paste, and essential oils?

Color printing, color paste, and essential oils are all techniques used in the surface coloring of metal products, each serving specific purposes and achieving distinct effects: Color Printing: This refers to techniques like offset printing, silk screen printing, and UV printing, which are used to achieve precise graphics and color effects on metal surfaces. What is the difference between die-struck and die-cut?

Our custom metal products are made with high-grade, jewelry-quality metal materials, ensuring their exceptional durability. However, they may not be entirely suitable for continuous outdoor use. If products are exposed to outdoor conditions for extended periods (such as several years), we cannot guarantee that painted, imitation (soft) enamel, and epoxy resin won't fade.

What is the difference between engraved lettering that is recessed (below the metal surface) and raised (above the metal surface)?

In the process of engraving on the back, recessed and raised lettering each have their unique applications and effects. Recessed engraving involves a technique where design elements are molded into the metal surface, creating a smooth and layered visual effect. This method is suitable for metal products requiring durability and even visual details, such as medals and high-end commemorative items.
